Dear Timberline Families,

Here are some upcoming events to note:

October 8 - COVID Vaccine Clinic at Timberline

8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics In Boise Schools: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center will provide mobile COVID-19 vaccinations for any eligible students with parental consent, employees or community members on the following dates. Additional information about how to sign-up and consent forms will be sent out in the upcoming weeks.

October 11 - Picture Retakes

For students who have already had their photo taken for this school year and are not happy with it, they may get their pictures retaken. If picture packets were purchased, please return them on this day.

October 13 - PSAT Day

Sophomores and Juniors will attend as usual this day, but they will be taking the PSAT in the morning before lunch. DTEC buses will be running on their normal schedule for seniors, otherwise seniors will begin their day at 11:00 a.m. in the main gym for a meeting regarding graduation information. Seniors will then be excused for lunch, at which time the testing for sophomores and juniors should also be ending. Lunch will be served at the normal time 11:41 a.m. - 12:16 p.m. for all students, and all students will attend periods 5, 6, and 7 on the regular afternoon bell schedule. More detailed information and reminders regarding testing will be sent as we get nearer to the testing date.

October 20 & 21 - Parent-Teacher Conferences

4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

We will holding these virtually this year and will be sending out more information on how to schedule this time with teachers as we get nearer to these dates. If parents prefer to meet in person, we can also arrange for that time.

November 2 - Election Day

In order to ensure safety for all our students, all high school students will attend their classes virtually on this day. The bell schedule will be followed and attendance will be taken. If families need assistance with wi-fi connections, please call our office at 208-854-6230. Hotspots are available for students to check out.

Other Items:

Cloth Masks

As much as possible, please send students to school with cloth masks. We understand that this may not always be possible and we have disposable masks if needed. Unfortunately, we have really been using up more than usual -- currently at a rate of about 2000 additional masks a week. Although we are very happy that students are wearing them, and that we have them for use, it is surprising to see our orders are consistently growing.
