SCOIR
:  Your Number 1, go-to site for all things college!  A comprehensive website for all high school students and parents to help organize personal data and facilitate long-term college and career planning.

The program features detailed information & links to colleges outlining: admissions information, academic information, costs, financial aid & scholarships, student body profiles, athletic programs, extracurricular activities, college rep visit schedules, and more.

Announcements:

College Admissions Visits to Timberline - Be sure to check the College and Career calendar  for upcoming visits.  The visits will also be posted on the bulletin board across the hall from the College and Career Center and the white board outside the Career Center.  They will also be in the morning announcements.  This is a great time for students to meet the College Admission Representatives and get information about schools they are interested in.

ACT/SAT Tutoring - If you are looking for ACT/SAT test prep, Kathi Lecertua has been providing test prep to Boise area students for many years.  Classes begin 4 weeks prior to each ACT/SAT test.  ACT sessions meet on Sundays and Mondays and SAT sessions on Wednesdays.  For more information email Kathi at [email protected] or call her at (208) 761-4140.  Cost is $175.

Online ACT/SAT Test Prep - www.eknowledge.com/IDHSAA
This online program offers lessons taught by several instructors, sample test questions, practice tests, and more.  The program is worth $350, but Idaho High School Activities Association has partnered with eknowledge and that fee is waived for our students.  There is a $19.99 fee that covers materials, student support, and other costs.  To access this program, link to www.eknowledge.com/IDHSAA.

Western Undergraduate Exchange-  WUE is the Western Undergraduate Exchange, a program coordinated by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Through WUE, students in Western states may enroll in participating two-year and four-year public college programs at a reduced tuition level: up to 150 percent of the institution’s regular resident tuition. Common ApplicationThe Common Application (also referred to as Common App) is a college admission application used by approximately 700 schools across the country.  It is important for students to know if the schools they are applying to use the Common Application. Coalition ApplicationThe Coalition Application includes a set of free online college planning tools that helps students learn about, prepare for, and apply to college.
