This week brings exciting opportunities to celebrate creativity, academic excellence, and school spirit, including tonight’s Spring Art Night from 5:30–8:00 PM in the cafeteria and auditorium, where families can enjoy student artwork, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Seniors should also be preparing for upcoming milestones with cap and gown distribution on May 1, the last day for seniors on May 14, and graduation at ExtraMile Arena on May 19 at 7:00 PM. AP Testing begins May 4 and runs through May 15, and students are encouraged to review testing expectations and schedules carefully. It's time for the THS Art Department to roll out the red carpet and invite one and all to see the great works that our THS students have made this year. We will have Senior AP student portfolio collections, wheel throwing demos and opportunities to try a spin at the potters wheel, hand building, Pot Walk (think Cake Walk) giveaways, raku firing outside the Ceramics room, paintings, illustrations, photography...and so much more.

Please join us 5:30-8:00 to appreciate and celebrate the creative spirit, the right hemisphere of the brain, and the innovatively mad skills of your sons and daughters in the Timberline Auditorium.  

AP testing will take place from May 4 through May 15, and students should make sure they know their specific testing date and time, as all exams will be held in the Main Gym ( unless told otherwise by the teacher).

Please come prepared with a fully charged Chromebook, pens, pencils, and a sweater or sweatshirt, as the gym can be quite cold. Students scheduled for morning exams must arrive no later than 7:40 AM, while those taking afternoon exams must arrive no later than 12:40 PM; afternoon testers will need to wait quietly in the Athletic Entrance hallway until the previous session is dismissed.

Students who choose not to test or do not show up will be charged a $40 unused exam fee.

In the case of illness or an emergency, students must email Mrs. Ennis (lisa.ennis@boiseschool.org)

within 24 hours of the missed exam to request a make-up test, or the opportunity to test may no longer be available.

Please make sure to enter the student’s name when purchasing your ticket.

After your purchase, you will receive two emails. One will be the transaction confirmation and the other will be the ticket with a QR code and a product number beginning with “W.” This will be required for entry at Wahooz, so be sure to have it ready when you arrive.

The only time cash payments will be accepted is at the door on the night of the event. If you plan to pay with cash, the cash-at-the-door price is $75.

Please note, we cannot accept credit cards at the door. The students can purchase using the QR code or cash at the door.

All it requires is to show up at 10:15 for the meeting where you will be assigned a

station to watch the kids do their thing for the evening. 

Volunteers also get free pizza, soda, and donuts....same as the kids. Coffee is also

provided for the adults.... nice since we have to stay up until 3am!!

I know the time of 10:15 - 3:00am can seem long and daunting, but I guarantee it's

a fun night! We are required to have 1 adult per 10 students, but as students

begin to leave, I can release chaperones so if you cannot stay until the end, you

won't get a gold star, but I will appreciate your help anyway! 

Thank you for supporting a safe and fun way for our seniors to celebrate their

graduation night with their friends! We have had a great turnout in the past and expect

this year to be no different. Please help us out and if you are a parent of a current junior

or sophomore, thank you for helping the current seniors and feel free to take next year

off to enjoy time with your family and friends on your student's grad night!

Timberline is holding Midweek Makeup sessions that are available for students who need to complete makeup work or reassessments. These weekly sessions will take place on Wednesdays in the Career Center at 7:30 AM.

If your student has missed assignments or needs additional time to demonstrate their learning, teachers may assign them to attend Midweek Makeup. During these sessions, students will have a quiet, supervised space to complete their work. Once finished, assignments and assessments will be collected and returned to the appropriate teacher.

Need a little extra help in math? Or just want a friendly place to practice? Come to Math Café!

Our peer tutoring program is open to all high school math students—whether you’re brushing up on basics, tackling tough problems, or just want to study with support.

If your student is parking on campus, a parking permit is required. Please purchase a parking permit using the QR codes below to fill out the parking permit information and an additional QR code to purchase the parking permit itself. The QR codes is available outside of the ASB office.

All students should have an ID badge and should be using it to get into the building. EVERY student is expected to keep their ID badge with them at school every day and students are expected to use their ID badge for door access. It is a key and must be reported if lost or stolen.

You can use this link to access Dorian's website. If you do not have your student's access code, please contact Dorian to get an access code. To request your access key online, please visit the Dorian website and find your school. Our bus contractor, Durham School Services, offers the Bus Zone Mobile App. This app will allow you to log in and securely track your child’s bus location during the scheduled route. You can set up alert zones and enable notifications for when the bus arrives or departs the school. Check out the Bus Zone Parent User Guide for helpful information. You will need your student’s bus number(s) and student ID number for the Bus Zone App, all of which you can find in Infinite Campus. Boise Parks & Recreation’s Adaptive Recreation program is looking for volunteers for the Idaho Youth Adaptive Sports Camp (Flyer Attached). The Idaho Youth Adaptive Sports Camp is offered to youth and teens who have a physical disability and use a wheelchair or could use a wheelchair to participate in sports. Camp sports include wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, handcycling, swimming and more! All campers are paired with a volunteer who helps cheer and support the athlete they are helping over the four days of the camp. Volunteers need to be age 16 or older. Previous adaptive sports experience is not needed.

The camp takes place June 10-13 at Fort Boise Community Center. The goal is that volunteers can help all four days, but if not, volunteers need to commit to at least two of the days. Priority is given to volunteers who can help out all four days as we pair every volunteer with a camper and it’s really difficult on the campers if they have someone different each day. Meals are provided during the camp as is a camp T-shirt.

A volunteer training will take place Wednesday, June 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Fort Boise Community Center.

BSU is gearing up for our third annual Health Sciences Camp at Boise State. The camp offers high school juniors and seniors of the 2026-27 year an exceptional opportunity to explore healthcare professions and health science programs at Boise State, learning through hands-on experience from our world-class faculty and Bachelor degree students, all while receiving a taste of life on campus with like-minded peers.

Their first two years of operation, they received overwhelming positive feedback from students and parents as their camp is the only one of its kind in Idaho, as well as a top option for the Pacific Northwest and West Coast regions.

This year, they are expanding their capacity to 50 students, and they still have spots available. They prioritize seating for incoming juniors and seniors of the 2026-27 year, but if students who are graduating this spring and are interested to attend, they will place them on a wait list until April 10 to allow eligible students the opportunity to apply first. As well, they have $200 scholarships available for those in need.
