The Wolf Pack is heading into an exciting few weeks at Timberline! With our inaugural Homecoming Parade and Homecoming celebrations just around the corner, there is plenty to look forward to both on and off the field. We also have important opportunities and information for students and families, including Picture Retake Day, the Boise National College Fair for juniors, Idaho College Application Week for seniors, and many more events and activities happening throughout our school and community. For the first time, Timberline will celebrate Homecoming with a school-wide parade featuring our students, teams, clubs, performing groups and organizations — followed by the 3rd Annual Timberline Athletic Booster Club's Homecoming Rally & BBQ!

Timberline High School is partnering with Clear SkiesTherapy Center to provide on-campus counseling for students during the school day.

This program is especially designed for students who could benefit from regular counseling but face barriers such as scheduling, transportation, or access to services outside of school.

A Clear Skies therapist will meet with students at school and is able to accept many insurance plans.

Help Us Recycle, Reduce Waste & Win!

Timberline Tree Club, in partnership with the Boise Rotary Club and Redwood Materials, is excited to host a year-round Lithium-Ion & Rechargeable Device Recycling Drive! Lithium-ion batteries are found in many of the devices we use every day, but they can be surprisingly difficult to recycle properly. When they are thrown in the trash or placed in the wrong recycling bin, they can create fire and safety hazards and contribute to unnecessary waste. Properly recycling these batteries allows valuable materials to be recovered and reused instead of ending up in landfills. That’s why this drive is a great opportunity to make responsible recycling easier for our Timberline community! Throughout the entire school year, students and families can bring eligible lithium-ion batteries and rechargeable devices to Mr. Barnes’ classroom, Room 212. Items can include old cell phones, electric toothbrushes, rechargeable batteries, and cordless power-tool batteries. Every time you bring in an eligible item to recycle, you will be automatically entered into that month’s raffle for a $25 Visa gift card! Two or three winners each month!  The next time you find an old rechargeable device or battery sitting around the house, send it with your student to school. You’ll help keep difficult-to-recycle materials out of the waste stream, support a more sustainable community, and have a chance to win $25 while doing it!

On Tuesday, September 29th, all BSD Juniors will attend the Boise National College Fair at Expo Idaho. This field trip allows students to learn more about colleges from around the country - and even the world! For a list of participating colleges and universities, please check this site. Students will be bused to the event; departing Timberline at approx. 9:15 am and returning at approx. 11:00 am. DTEC students can choose to attend the College Fair or go to their regular DTEC class. Parents are invited to attend the evening session of the College Fair, which runs from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

All students should have an ID badge and should be using it to get into the building. EVERY student is expected to keep their ID badge with them at school every day and students are expected to use their ID badge for door access. It is a key and must be reported if lost or stolen.

Student who are wanting to retake their picture will have the opportunity on Picture Retake Day on October 2nd.

Timberline’s FIRST Homecoming Parade is coming October 8!

Thursday, October 8

Parade begins at 2:30 PM

Theme: SPIRIT OF THE PACK!

The parade will feature Timberline athletic teams, clubs, student organizations, performing groups, Homecoming Court and more, followed by the 3rd Annual Homecoming Rally & BBQ!

All Timberline teams, clubs and organizations are encouraged to participate. Parade entries can be as simple as walking with a banner or as creative as decorated vehicles, trailers and floats.

Held at Trinity Pines in Cascade, Idaho, Leadership Academy gives students the chance to step away from their everyday routine, meet teens from across Idaho, and grow through engaging activities, meaningful conversations, team-building, and hands-on leadership experiences. Students will leave with new friendships, stronger leadership skills, and ideas they can take back to their schools and communities.

Veolia's Student Conservation Video Contest is now open through Friday, October 16th at 11:59 p.m.! 

Veolia is inviting students in grades 9-12 to create a compelling public service announcement showcasing water conservation through their unique perspectives. The winning entries will air on live television throughout the summer 2027, and winning classrooms will receive a cash donation.
